AHTS contracts awarded by Total E&P South Africa

Total E&P South Africa has awarded Solstad Offshore ASA contracts for two Large Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) Vessels, Normand Drott and Normand Prosper. The contracts are to support Total E&P South Africa's operations in Block 11B/12B and the drilling programme is expected to take up to 280 days, not including mobilization time and demobilization time, with expected commencement during the first half of 2020. Both vessels are currently trading the North Sea Spot Market.

This new contract award marks the return of Solstad Offshore to South Africa having supported Total's previous drilling campaign in in the region during Q4
 
Golden Energy Offshore Services AS - fleet commitment update

Golden Energy Offshore Services AS (GEOS-ME) has secured employment for the two newbuild vessels, Energy Empress and Energy Duchess, each for a minimum of 90 days period for an undisclosed client outside the North Sea Spot market. These contracts commences at a time when the North Sea Spot market is expected to be slower due to the upcoming winter season and reconfirm the competitiveness of these modern energy effective vessels. The contracts provides a sustainable positive EBITDA margin on charter during their first winter jobs. As previously informed the Energy Scout is on a fixed contract till 20 January 2020 and the Energy Swan firm until 30 November 2019.

Utilization YTD on GEOS-ME fleet 96% of calendar days and for Q4- 2019 there is committed 335 vessel days.
 
Skandi Vega - extention of contract with Equinor Energy AS

Equinor Energy AS has exercised a 6 months option connected to the Framework Agreement awarded in 2018. The vessel will be utilized firm from mid November 2019 until mid May 2020.

The CEO, Mons Aase comments "Skandi Vega has served Equinor since 2009 and we are satisfied that the vessel is secured firm work through the coming winter season"
 
DOF Subsea secures contracts in Africa

DOF Subsea has secured 2 contracts totaling more than 160 vessel days for Skandi Seven and Skandi Skansen in Africa.

Skandi Seven has commenced operations for a repeat international energy company in Angola, delivering integrated FSV services, project management & engineering. DOF Subsea will during this contract deliver onshore and offshore work scopes within deep-water field development and maintenance duties towards existing subsea infrastructure.

Skandi Skansen shall shortly commence mobilization in the North Sea to deliver a mooring refurbishment and installation project for a key Client in Ghana. In water depths up to 1000 meters, Skandi Skansen shall execute a variety of mooring activities.

The CEO, Mons Aase, states that he is very pleased with the contract awards, increasing the Company's footprint in strategical important areas in the winter season.
 
Energy Swan - Contract Extensions

Golden Energy Offshore Services AS (GEOS-ME) is pleased to inform that a contract extension has been secured for Energy Swan.

A contract extension has been secured with Wintershall Dea in Norway. The contract is in direct continuation of the charter contract from 2013. The large PSV Energy Swan was in 2013 chartered for a firm period of 4 years + optional (total of 5 years options). Wintershall Norge AS and GEOS agreed after expiration of the firm period several extensions, latest with firm period to 30 November 2019. The parties have now agreed that the vessel will remain firm on charter in direct continuation present firm period for addition 8 months till 31 July 2020. The charter rate reflects the market conditions. The parties have further agreed that Charterers continue having options available to charter the vessel as per the original charter (till 30 November 2021).
 
AHTS contracts awarded by INPEX

Solstad Offshore ASA ("Solstad") has entered into a contract with Inpex Operations Australia Pty for the provision of two anchor handlers to support additional drilling for the Ichthys LNG development.

Normand Scorpion and Normand Sirius will be contracted to INPEX for a period of 3 years.

The anchor handlers are expected to mobilise out of Broome, Australia in the first quarter of 2020.

This is a continuation of earlier support provided to the Ichthys LNG development and we relish the opportunity to continue our working relationship for years to come" said Managing Director for Solstad Offshore Asia Pacific, Keith Soutar.
 
PSV contract awarded by Wintershall DEA

Wintershall DEA in Norway have awarded Solstad Offshore ASA a medium-term contract to support their operations in Norway. The award is a call off from an established frame agreement. Commencement of the contract will take place during Q4 2019, estimated duration is 120-200 days and it will be covered by the large PSV Normand Skude.
 
DOF Subsea contract for Hywind Tampen is a strategic breakthrough

DOF Subsea signs today a contract with Kværner to collaborate and deliver Marine Operations for Equinor`s Hywind Tampen Project. The contract shall be executed in a 50/50 partnership (joint venture) with Kværner.

"Hywind Tampen will be the world's largest floating offshore wind farm and is vital for industrialising solutions and reducing costs for future offshore wind power projects. The deep-water floating renewables market is on the verge of commercialization, and therefore this contract has strategic importance to DOF Subsea" says Mons Aase, CEO in DOF Subsea.

The Hywind Tampen project will be installed offshore Norway, west of the city Bergen and will supply electrical power to the nearby oil and gas platforms Gullfaks A, B, C and Snorre A and B. The combined effect from the 11 turbines will be 88 megawatts and will replace about 35 percent of the five platforms' energy demand. Today, the energy required to run these platforms is supplied by gas turbines.

The project will reduce Norwegian CO 2 emissions with more than 200?000 tonnes per year, which is equivalent to the emissions from 100?000 cars. In addition, analysis confirm that the hulls made of concrete have a favourable CO 2 footprint compared to several other solutions. Hywind Tampen will also be leveraged to further reduce the CO 2 footprint in future projects.

DOF Subsea and Kværner has entered into a 50/50 joint venture to deliver Hywind Tampen marine operations. The scope includes full project management, engineering, assembly site management, mooring system installation, units tow-to -field and installation of the floating wind turbine units at the Tampen area. Several state-of-the-art construction vessels will be deployed from DOF Subsea during project phases, including the 2011 built Skandi Skansen. The vessels, together with a competent onshore and offshore organisation, shall ensure a safe and efficient delivery of Hywind Tampen marine operations project.
 
Contract awarded by Equinor

Solstad Offshore ASA has entered into a new contract with Equinor for the hire of anchor handling vessel (AHTS) Normand Ferking. The duration of the contract is 1 year firm, and in addition Equinor has the option to extend with further 2 x 1 year. Commencement is in direct continuation of current charter, thus the vessel is now firm to November 2020. Normand Ferking has worked for Equinor since she was delivered from yard in 2007.

Equinor has also declared 3 yearly options each on supply vessels (PSV) Normand Sun and Normand Sygna extending the contracts firm to July and September 2023 respectively. In addition, Equinor has the option to extend both contracts with further 2 x 1 year. Both vessels have worked for Equinor since delivered from yard in 2014.

DOF Subsea awarded contracts in Trinidad and GoM

DOF Subsea is pleased to announce multiple contract awards from undisclosed clients in two important growing regions, Trinidad and US GoM.

Skandi Neptune has been awarded a 3-year frame agreement for IMR and light construction services with a major operator in Trinidad. She will commence operation in Trinidad late November for the 1[st] offshore inspection campaign.

The Group have also secured several shorter contracts in the GoM to support IMR, subsea installation and decommissioning operations, securing good utilisation in the 4[th] quarter for Harvey Deep Sea.

Moreover, Geosea has been awarded a 21-day contract commencing in late November in the GoM.

In a statement Mons Aase, CEO DOF Subsea, said, "This is important awards for us, securing good utilisation for our ships in the North America Region, in addition to creating a strong basis for future work in Trinidad and the GoM."
 
Significant Contract Award by Woodside

Solstad Offshore ASA ("Solstad") has entered into a contract with Woodside for the provision of six vessels, of which two are Anchor Handlers and four are Platform Supply Vessels, to provide marine services for several offshore drilling campaigns in Australian waters commencing in December 2019.

Normand Saracen, Far Senator, Normand Leader, Normand Skimmer, Normand Swan and Far Seeker will be contracted to Woodside for a combined firm period of 1100 vessel-days, with Woodside having access to a further combined total of 3000 optional vessel-days.

The Normand Leader, a dual fuel powered PSV, will be mobilised from the North Sea to Australia and she will be operated in LNG mode during her charter period on the North West Shelf supporting Woodside's 'Green Corridor Initiative.'

These contract awards are unique in scale and volume and are testament to Woodside's commitment to developing new ways of working to support their Burrup Hub vision.

Preparations have already started for the significant mobilisation campaign required to be completed ahead of offshore commencement later this year.

"We have a very busy preparatory period ahead of us in the coming months which has already kicked off in earnest. Mobilising six vessels for a single campaign is something a vessel operator is rarely required to do, so our main focus is that we plan diligently and execute safely," said Managing Director for Solstad Offshore Asia Pacific, Keith Soutar.
 
Charter contract for a Dual Fuel PSV

The Dual Fuel PSV "Siem Symphony" has been awarded a charter contract with Wintershall Dea in Norway for a 2 wells drilling campaign on the Norwegian Continental Self.

The contract period is estimated between 150 to 200 days and the vessel will commence operation during November 2019.
 
Contract for vessel in Brazil

Solstad Offshore ASA has entered into a new contract for AHTS BOS Turmalina (2006, UT 722L, 165t BP) with Enauta Energia S.A in Brazil. The new charter is 1,5 years firm with up to 2 years options thereafter. Commencement of the contract is in Q4-2019, in direct continuation with current charter. AHTS BOS Turmalina shall keep supporting production activities at the "Atlanta Field" in Santos Basin.
 
Contract for CSV Normand Clipper

Solstad Offshore ASA has been awarded a long-term contract with Global Offshore, part of the Global Marine Group for CSV, Normand Clipper. The contract will commence in 1Q 2020 and have a duration of 3 years firm plus 5 years options thereafter.

Global Offshore will utilize the vessel to support their cable lay operations within the renewable energy and oil & gas sectors.
 
DOF - New contracts

DOF (UK) Limited has been awarded a contract for up to six months work for the Skandi Barra by an undisclosed client. Commencement is planned for late November 2019.

DOF is further pleased to announce multiple vessel contract awards with major
key Client in the Mediterranean Sea. The Group has secured utilisation of two large pipe carriers (PSVs) and one high specification AHTS for respectively a minimum 60 and 75 firm days plus options.

The vessels will mobilise from other regions within primo December 2019.
