Det bekrefter konsernsjef Bjørn Idar Remøy i Bourbon Offshore Norway overfor Hegnar.no.

The Horizon Arctic: An offshore vessel with unequalled power and capacity

Built in 2016 for Bourbon Offshore, the Horizon Arctic is an exceptional vessel. The modern designed vessel, with a bollard pull of 307 tonnes in boost mode and 193 tonnes in diesel electric mode, is able to service the most demanding of offshore clients, especially in the North Atlantic. Chief Operating Officer Steve Widmeyer comments:

“With our experienced crews, this addition to our offshore fleet improves our abilities to safely respond to complex offshore operations in harsh weather environments for our clients.”

The acquisition of the Horizon Arctic also marks the launch of the newly incorporated Norwegian branch, Horizon Maritime Offshore AS, headquartered in Aalesund, Norway.
