Contract for CSV Normand Valiant

Solstad Offshore ASA is pleased to announce contract award for the CSV Normand Valiant with PETROBRAS. The charter is 2 years firm with possibility of 2 years extension. Commencement of the contract will take place in 2Q 2022. The contract has a gross value of approximately NOK 350 million, including additional services.

Normand Valiant will provide accommodation services to support production activities in the Brazilian continental shelf.

Contract awards​

Equinor Energy AS has exercised options to extend the firm periods of the contracts for Skandi Mongstad for 3 years, and Skandi Vega for 2 years. Both vessels have worked continuously with Equinor since delivery from the yard in 2008 and 2010, respectively.

In addition, Shell UK Ltd have exercised an option to extend large/modern PSV Skandi Kvitsøy for 1 year firm, from end March 2022.

DOF ASA CEO, Mons S. Aase, said "DOF is delighted to announce these awards, which further strengthen our partnerships with key long standing clients in Norway, and the UK, whilst securing substantial firm backlog for the group". The subsidiary DOF Rederi has further sold Skandi Rona, a PSV built in 2002, with delivery in April.
 

EIOF – Contract for Veritas Viking​

Eidesvik Offshore ASA has been awarded a bareboat contract for 100 days with options for extensions with an undisclosed 3rd party operator for Veritas Viking. The vessel will be mobilized from its current location at Bømlo and is scheduled to commence the bareboat contract ultimo April 2022.

Eidesvik Offshore ASA has been awarded a bareboat contract for 100 days with options for extensions with an undisclosed 3rd party operator for Veritas Viking. The vessel will be mobilized from its current location at Bømlo and is scheduled to commence the bareboat contract ultimo April 2022.

DOF Subsea awarded SURF contract for the Skandi Constructo​


DOF Subsea Canada is pleased to announce the award of the first SURF project for the Skandi Constructor from VAALCO ENERGY. DOF Subsea will perform subsea
construction and installation services to support the subsea reconfiguration associated with the replacement of the existing Floating Production, Storage and Offloading unit ("FPSO") with a Floating Storage and Offloading vessel ("FSO") at the Etame field, offshore Gabon. Engineering and design work has commenced
with subsea work forecasted to begin in July and expected to be completed by September 2022.

The Skandi Constructor was upgraded in 2021 with a 250 ton AHC crane and outfitted with 2 new XLXc ROV system and is currently working in Trinidad under multiple contracts managed by DOF Subsea USA performing commissioning and IMR tasks before returning to the North Sea for other commitment in Q2.
 

DOF Subsea Atlantic contracts update​


DOF Subsea is pleased to announce multiple new contracts within Renewables and Oil & Gas in the North Sea.

The projects, to be delivered in 2022, total more than 185 vessel days excluding any optional work.

Skandi Acergy, Skandi Constructor, Skandi Hera and selected third-party vessels will be utilised in the offshore execution phases.

All awards include project management, engineering, procurement and logistics - to be delivered by our integrated subsea expert teams across Bergen and Aberdeen.

Several of the awards are EPRD (Engineering, Preparation, Removal and Disposal) decommissioning contracts, and DOF Subsea is planning to deploy multiple vessels in-field during the execution.

DOF Subsea has also received several new frame agreements. Within one frame agreement, DOF Subsea will deliver continuous survey services for a Renewables project in Taiwan throughout 2022. DOF Subsea has also received a frame agreement with a major North Sea Operator, unlocking access to DOF Subsea`s integrated services within IMR (Inspection, Maintenance and Repair), construction, SURF and decommissioning.
 

Contract award OSCV Siem Spearfish​

Siem Offshore has entered into a contract for the OSCV Siem Spearfish in the UK sector. The contract will commence in direct continuation of its current commitment, securing continued utilization well into the second quarter of 2022. The scope of work consists of walk-to-work (“W2W”) operations for accommodation support during a maintenance campaign, continuing to further build upon our track record for W2W.

The financial details reflects the tight availability for capable high- end tonnage.
 

Contract award for Viking Prince​


Eidesvik Offshore ASA (“Eidesvik”) has been awarded a contract with Equinor Energy AS (“Equinor”) for the PSV Viking Prince. The firm period is six months with options for further extensions. The contract will commence in April/May 2022.

Viking Prince was upgraded with a battery hybrid system and a shore power system in January 2022.

New long term PSV contracts in Norway

ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS and Solstad Offshore ASA ("Solstad") have entered into new long-term contracts for the PSVs Normand Server, Normand Supporter and Normand Fortune. The new contracts will start in direct continuation of current firm periods on the vessels, and keep them fully utilized to Q1/Q2 2027.

The vessels, that are fitted with battery-hybrid systems in addition to shore power, have been on contract for ConocoPhillips Scandinavia AS since 2018 and will continue to support their activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Solstad have been working together with this client on the Norwegian Continental Shelf since 1974, and are very pleased to continue the collaboration in the years to come.
 

Contract award AHTS Siem Sapphire​

Siem Offshore has signed a new contract for the AHTS “Siem Sapphire” for operations in Taiwan. Delivery has already taken place, and secures firm utilization well into the third quarter of 2022 plus options. The scope of work consists of walk-to-work (“W2W”) operations for accommodation support in relation to commissioning of an offshore wind park, continuing to further build upon our track record for W2W. DOF Subsea awarded multiple contracts for the Ross Candies​

DOF Subsea USA is pleased to announce the award of multiple contracts for the Ross Candies.

The vessel will be utilised well into Q3 2022, undertaking jumper installations, span remediation, pre-commissioning, decommissioning, pipelay support and IMR activities at multiple field locations in the Gulf of Mexico.
 
GC Rieber Shipping: Extension for the crew-boat "Polar Piltun"

Reference is made to the stock exchange notice 17 January 2020, where it wasannounced that GC Rieber Shipping through its 50/50 joint venture, co-owned with Russian partner Prisco, had entered into new 1+1 year charter agreements with Sakhalin Energy Investment Company Ltd (SEIC) for the two crew-boats "Polar Baikal" and "Polar Piltun".

SEIC has exercised its 1-year option for "Polar Piltun", making the charter firm through 2021. "Polar Baikal" will finish her charter in 2020.

Multiple PSV and AHTS contracts​

Solstad Offshore ASA (“Solstad”) is pleased to announce awards of contracts involving the PSV’s Normand Tantalus, Normand Serenade, Normand Springer and Normand Arctic. The contracts have a combined firm duration of ca 500 days, with additional options thereafter. The contracts commence during Q2/Q3 2022 and are concluded with key operators in both UK and Norway.

Solstad is also pleased to announce awards of multiple project contracts involving several of its anchor handlers (AHTS) currently trading the North Sea spot market. The contracts have a combined firm utilization of 350 days, with additional options thereafter. Commencement is during Q2 and Q3 2022 in the North Sea, US Gulf and West Africa.

The combined value of the firm period of the contracts is NOK 230 mill.

The market for offshore vessels continues to improve with strong demand from oil & gas, in addition to an increasing demand from renewable energy activity.
 

FLEET UPDATE – Term contract and reactivation - Energy Scout​

GOLDEN ENERGY OFFSHORE SERVICES AS has secured a term contract for ENERGY SCOUT and has started reactivation process. Vessel has been 16 months in warm lay-up caused by the downturn in the market as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The term contract for the vessel is to a first class international operator and work scope Survey; Geotechnical, Geophysical & IMR duties.Contract are on marked terms and conditions.

Golden Energy Offshore AS has now secured term contracts for 4 of its 4 vessels and have well in excess of 90% utilization until Q4-22, in an improving market.

Contract award – OSCV Siem Spearfish​

Siem Offshore has entered into a new contract for the OSCV Siem Spearfish with client DeepOcean. The contract will commence in direct continuation of its current commitment, securing a firm utilization until the end of 2023. The contract shows an increased appetite in the market to secure OSCV’s for longer periods.

DeepOcean intends to employ the vessel supporting its clients predominately in West Africa and Europe both in the Offshore Renewables and Oil and Gas Sector undertaking projects within Offshore Construction and Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR).
 

Contract extension for Skandi Africa​


DOF Subsea is pleased to announce that an option has been exercised for the vessel Skandi Africa. The new commitment will now run until February 2024 and will commence in direct continuation with the current commitment.

Skandi Africa is a high-end subsea vessel designed for harsh environment and deepwater subsea construction and flexlay operations.

DOF Group CEO, Mons S. Aase, stated, "Skandi Africa is the most sophisticated vessel in our fleet and we are looking forward to continuing the journey, delivering successful installation campaigns."
