GC Rieber Shipping - New charter agreement for the Polar Queen

GC Rieber Shipping has entered into a time charter agreement with a Tier 1 client for the offshore construction vessel Polar Queen. The charter holds two firm periods, one period of 45 days plus options with commencement of operations shortly, and one period of 50 days with commencement in February 2019. The vessel will be used to perform walk-to-work duties and accommodation services.

This charter further strengthens GC Rieber Shipping's backlog, securing a contract coverage of 92% for the fourth quarter of 2018.
 
Normand Reach awarded contract with Global Sea Mineral Resources, member of the DEME-Group

Solstad Offshore ASA ("Solstad") has been awarded a contract with Global Sea Mineral Resources NV(GSR), for the CSV Normand Reach. The contract will commence in 4Q 2018 and has a duration of 4-6 months. The vessel will be mobilized from Europe with the mining vehicle "Patania II", support equipment and containers, before sailing to San Diego (USA). Patania II is a Pre-Prototype remotely operated mining vehicle designed to collect polymetallic nodules in water depths down to 5000m below surface.

The vessel will work side-by-side with the German Research Vessel Sonne under the JPI Oceans project "Mining Impact II", to perform an independent scientific assessment of the environmental impacts, generated during the Patania II tests in the Belgian and German License Areas in the Pacific Ocean
 
Contract extension in Brazil

Skandi Hav has been granted a 226 days extension by Petrobras and the vessel is secured firm utilization until 8th June 2019. Skandi Hav was built in 1983 and is currently working as a RSV vessel supporting FPSO operations in Brazil.
 
Total tildeler Boskalis stor Tyra-kontrakt

Det franske olieselskab Total’s danske selskab, Total E & P Denmark, har indgået en stor kontrakt med det hollandske rederi Royal Boskalis Westminster, om levering af en række subsea-ydelser i forbindelse med renoveringen af Tyra-feltet.

Boskalis skal bl.a. stå for flytning og tilslutning af undervandsrørledninger samt installation af nye konstruktioner på havbunden.

Projekteringen vil ske på Boskalis kontorer i Papendrecht, Aberdeen og Esbjerg, mens arbejdet på havet primært vil blive udført af Boka Polaris, et af de nyeste skibe i rederiets flåde.

Renoveringen af Tyra-feltet skal sikre gasproduktion fra feltet i yderligere mindst 25 år.

Awarded contracts in the UK

Fairfield Betula Limited ("Fairfield") has awarded Solstad Offshore ASA ("Solstad") long-term contracts for two the Platform Supply Vessels "Far Symphony" and "Normand Aurora" in the UK Sector, North Sea. The Far Symphony (2003, P105 Design) has been contracted for 18 months firm plus options, commencing mid-October 2018, and continues to support Fairfield's UK operations having done so since April 2017. The Normand Aurora (2005, P105 Design) contract is for 12 months plus options, commencing mid-January 2019. "Solstad is pleased to have been recognized as a preferred supplier by another important North Sea client. This furthers an already commendable relationship with Fairfield which we hope continues well into the future.", states Jon Are Gummedal EVP PSV/AHTS International.
 
GC Rieber Shipping: Shearwater GeoServices awarded two contracts, adding 7 vessel months

GC Rieber Shipping ASA's 50% owned geoservices company Shearwater GeoServices ("Shearwater") has been awarded 3D surveys in the Mediterranean and South East Asia, adding 7 vessel months to the current backlog. The surveys will be starting in the first half of Q4 2018. The Mediterranean survey will take approximately two months, and the South East Asia surveys lasting 5 months.

"We are pleased to be awarded these surveys firming up the backlog over the 2018/19 winter season, after we have seen utilization of 85% and transit of 15% for the first three quarters of 2018", said Irene Waage Basili, Shearwater CEO.

The survey in the Mediterranean area covers approximately 1,300 sqkm and will utilize the Polar Empress. The contract in South East Asia covers two survey areas, totalling over 8,000 sqkm, and will be conducted by the Polar Duchess.

Shearwater GeoServices is a marine geophysical services company jointly owned by GC Rieber Shipping ASA and RASMUSSENGRUPPEN AS. The company has a fleet of four modern seismic vessels, a broad offering of high quality geophysical services including advanced software, processing and acquisition techniques, and two owners with complementary skills and collectively a long experience in the industry.
 
ISLAND CLIPPER HAS SECURED A THREE- YEAR W2W CONTRACT

Island Clipper has secured a three-year agreement with Equinor as combined PSV and walk to work vessel. The vessel will be equipped with battery package, shore connection and gangway which can be mobilized on short notice.

Commencement of the contract is 1st of April 2019, and it includes options for up two additional years.
Island Clipper is arranged to operate as an accommodation vessel during maintenance work at Equinor’s installations, and can accommodate 60 persons.

“This is a very exciting project for us, and it is especially gratifying to be awarded such a long term contract after some tough years in the offshore market. With Island Clipper, we have four platform supply vessels which has been adapted for walk to work-duties, and this proves that our belief in this segment was entirely right, says Håvard Ulstein, Managing Director of Island Offshore Management AS.

In addition to Island Clipper, Island Offshore owns the three walk to work vessels Island Crown, Island Condor and Island Diligence.
 
Contract Skandi Kvitsøy

DOF Rederi AS has been awarded a 1 year contract with options up to 2 years, for Skandi Kvitsøy, by Point Resources. Operation will be on the NCS with commencement early November. Skandi Kvitsøy is a PSV (PSV 09 CD design) built in 2012.
 
Simon Møkster-skip deltar i NATO-øvelse

Forsyningsskipet Stril Mar blir benyttet til å støtte forsvaret.

Simon Møkster Shippings plattform forsyningsskip Stril Mar jobber til daglig med å bistå oljeselskaper med forsyningstjenester.

Nå må imidlertid slike arbeidsoppgaver vike, til fordel for et oppdrag av mer uvanlig art.

Skipet er nemlig tatt ut av sin vanlige operasjon for å delta i NATO-øvelsen Trident Juncture, ifølge en melding fra selskapet.

I tillegg til sitt sivile mannskap, har fartøyet fått besøk av et militært mannskap som benytter fartøyet som en base for lett vedlikehold, forsyninger av drivstoff og logistikkstøtte.

NATO-bidraget er en del av et konsept som kalles STUFT (ship taken out of trade) der sivile skip tas ut av sin normale operasjon for å støtte militære avdelinger på sjøen.
- Å være i stand til å teste denne kapasiteten under Trident Juncture gjør forsvaret i stand til å bedre kunne støtte fartøyene som er i operasjon, sier Kommandørkaptein Frode Staurset.

GC Rieber Shipping: 4-month charter for Polar Queen

GC Rieber Shipping has entered into a time charter agreement with a European offshore client for the CSV vessel Polar Queen for a fixed period of four months with options to extend by up to one month. The project is the same as Polar Queen was engaged on during the summer of 2018. The vessel will be used in British sector to perform accommodation services and walk-to-work duties, and commencement will be in May 2019.

The charter further strengthens GC Rieber Shipping's backlog, securing full contract coverage for the summer of 2019. Both Polar King and Polar Onyx are on long term charters, and with the recent charter announcements for Polar Queen, the vessel will be employed almost continuously from now until September 2019.

Energy Swan - Contract Extensions

Golden Energy Offshore Services AS (GEOS) is pleased to inform that a contract extension has been secured with Wintershall Norge AS. The contract is in direct continuation of the charter contract from 2013. The large PSV Energy Swan was in 2013 chartered for a firm period of 4 years + optional (total of 4 years options). Wintershall Norge AS and GEOS agreed after expiration of the firm period several extensions, latest with firm period to 31 December 2018.

The parties have now agreed that the vessel will remain firm on charter in direct continuation present firm period and till 30 April 2019. The charter rate reflects the market conditions. The parties have further agreed that Charterers continue having options available to charter the vessel as per the original charter (till 30 November 2021).
 
New contract for Edda Flora

We are pleased to announce contract renewal with DeepOcean for Edda Flora

Østensjø Rederi and DeepOcean have signed a new contract for Edda Flora. The new contract will commence Q1/2019 and will secure firm utilization until end of 2020.

“Edda Flora together with Edda Fauna have been on contract to DeepOcean since the vessels were delivered in 2008 and we are very pleased that this relationship will continue for both vessels. This is further an evidence that Østensjø Rederi is in position to secure high utilization for its fleet even in this challenging market, says CEO Kenneth Walland”. In addition to these two vessels, Østensjø Rederi’s large offshore construction vessel Edda Freya built 2016 is already engaged on a long-term contract with DeepOcean.
 
Kontraktsforlengelser for Eidesvik

Viking Neptun vil fortsette arbeidet for Merkur Offshore frem til medio mai, med
påfølgende opsjoner.

Kontrakten med Siemens Gamesa for Acergy Viking har blitt forlenget med et år,
og er nå fast til ultimo januar 2021 med opsjoner til ultimo april.

Contract awards by Equinor UK Limited

Equinor UK Limited ("Equinor") has awarded Solstad Offshore ASA a two-year
contract for the Platform Supply Vessel "Normand Skipper" (2005, VS4420 Design).
Commencement will be November/December 2018 and the contract also has up to two
-years of options after the initial firm period. In addition, Equinor have
exercised a one-year option on the present Sea Falcon contract, effective from
November 2018.

The Normand Skipper will join the Sea Falcon and Sea Frost (both 2013, PX105
Design) in supporting Equinor's UK operations. Both Sea Falcon and Sea Frost
have been on contract to Equinor since 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Contracts in Brazil

Solstad Offshore has entered into a contract for the CSV "Normand Pioneer" (1999, CSV, 286t BP) with "Queiroz Galvão Exploração e Produção S.A in Brazil. The contract has a duration of two years firm and in addition charterer holds two yearly options. The contract will commence in 1q 2019 and shall support production at the "Atlanta Field" in Santos Basin. "Normand Pioneer" will replace the AHTS "Far Sagaris", who presently have this position, when her firm contract expires in 1Q 2019.

In addition, Equinor Brazil has confirmed additional 6 months extension of the Contracts for both PSV Far Scotsman (2012, PSV 08 CD, 4000 DWT) and PSV Far Serenade (2009, UT 751 CD, 5950 DWT). These vessels will keep supporting Equinor Brazil's portfolio activities.
 
Kontraktstildeling for Veritas Viking

Et selskap i Eidesvik Offshore ASA gruppen har inngått avtale med et datterselskap av CGG om ny kontrakt for kildeskipet Veritas Viking. Kontrakten er fast 5 måneder med videre opsjoner og vil påbegynne ultimo november 2018.

«Eidesvik har inngått samarbeid med Vestland Management for det kilderelaterte arbeidet i kontrakten. Med dette samarbeidet er jeg sikker på at vi vil levere tjenester av beste kvalitet til kunden» sier CEO Jan Fredrik Meling.

PGS får storkontrakt

PGS har inngått en kontrakt for en 3D-undersøkelse i Sør-Amerika. Det oppgis ikke noe navn på kunden.

PGS har planer om å bruke to Ramform Titan-klasse fartøyer til prosjektet, som er estimert å ta 13 fartøy-måneder.

Etter planen starter innhentingen av data i andre halvdel av november.

Kontrakten er anslått å være på over 75 millioner dollar.

Kontrakt til Seabird Exploration

Seabird Exploration har signert en intensjonsavtale med et internasjonal olje- og gasselskap for 2D-innhenting i Amerika-regionen, ifølge en melding onsdag.

Innhentingen vil ta om lag seks uker, og vil bli gjennomført med «Harrier Explorer» i første kvartal 2019, opplyses det.
