EIOF - Eidesvik Offshore ASA enters into Master Time Charter Agreement with Seabed Geosolutions

Eidesvik Offshore ASA («Eidesvik») has entered into a long-term Master Time Charter Agreement with Seabed Geosolutions. The Master Time Charter Agreement includes services for seismic source and node-handling vessels.

As a first call off under this agreement, Eidesvik has been awarded new contracts by Seabed Geosolutions for the seismic source vessel «Vantage» and the node-handling vessel «Subsea Viking». The new contracts are in direct continuation of the existing contracts, and the duration is approximately 3 months with further options. Both vessels are then booked until the fourth quarter 2019.

EIOF - Eidesvik Offshore ASA awarded contract for «Veritas Viking»

Eidesvik Offshore ASA has received a letter of award from Magseis Fairfield for the use of «Veritas Viking» as a source vessel for an upcoming ocean bottom survey in the North Sea. PSV contracts

Equinor UK Limited ("Equinor") have declared one year options on two Solstad Offshore ASA platform supply vessel contracts. The Sea Frost and Sea Falcon (both 2013, PX105 Design) will now be on contract until July 2020 and November 2020 respectively, with further options available in Equinor's favor thereafter.

In addition, the Sea Surfer (2014, PX105 Design) has been contracted to an undisclosed client for a period lasting three months firm, plus options, with commencement within June/July 2019.
 
EIOF - Contract award for «Viking Athene»

Aker BP has awarded Eidesvik Offshore ASA a contract for «Viking Athene» under the existing framework agreement between the parties. The firm period is 6 months commencing in Q3 2019.
 
EIOF - New contract extension for Eidesvik Offshore ASA

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has extended the charter of «Acergy Viking» by one additional year. The new firm period will end January 2022, with options thereafter.

Awarded contract for two PSV's in Norway

Wintershall DEA have awarded Solstad Offshore a 10 wells firm (estimated 30 months) + options contract to support their West Mira drilling campaign. Commencement of the contract will take place in August/September 2019, and will be covered by the large PSVs Normand Falnes ((VS 485 MkII, built 2011) and Normand Naley (VS 485 MkII, built 2011).

Normand Falnes is currently being reactivated from layup and have also been secured by Vår Energi for a 1 well (Approximately 80 days) contract to support their Scarabeo 8 drilling operation in the Norwegian Sea ; starting early June 2019. As a result the vessel is fully committed up to commencement of the Wintershall DEA contract.

The latest contract awards contribute positively to the Solstad fleet backlog at rates that reflect improving market conditions for vessel Owners.
 
Contract awards in Brazil

The DOF Group has been awarded several contracts for its fleet in Brazilcommencing during the next months.

Norskan Offshore has been awarded a contract from Total in Brazil for the AHTS Skandi Rio. The vessel will perform anchor handling and supply activities supporting Totals growing operations in Brazil. The contract will commence shortly and has a maturity of 13-months firm and 2 x 6 months option.

DOF Subsea Brasil has been awarded a contract from Sapura Energy do Brasil in Northeast of Brazil for final Client CELSE (Centrais Elétricas de Sergipe S.A.). Skandi Seven will be utilised for this project and will perform a Riser and Umbilical installation for a Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) for natural gas supply to Celse's power plant. The project is 20 days firm and 4 x 5 days options commencing last week of May.

The PLSV Skandi Niterói has been committed with TechnipFMC for the Peregrino Phase II SURF Project of Equinor in Brazil. She will start operations in the next few months on this project announced by TechnipFMC on September 28th, 2017. The Skandi Niterói, a Brazilian flagged flexible lay and construction vessel was built in Brazil and is owned by a Joint-Venture formed by DOF (50%) and TechnipFMC (50%).

The CEO Mons Aase states that he is very pleased with this contract awards, which confirms the DOF Group's strong position in the South America region.
 
Acergy Viking Stays on Siemens Gamesa Duty

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy has extended the charter of Eidesvik’s vessel Acergy Viking by one additional year.

The new firm period will end January 2022, with options thereafter.

The Acergy Viking has been on Siemens Gamesa duty for a few years, with previous extension until January 2021.

We are very pleased with the good cooperation established with Siemens Gamesa, and we look forward to continuing our service deliveries to them,” says CEO Jan Fredrik Meling.

Prior to its renewables campaign, the vessel was used for survey work, but after remodeling it was converted into a so-called wind farm support/light construction vessel.

Kontraktstildeling for Olympic Subsea ASA innenfor fornybar energi

Olympic er tildelt kontrakt for skipet Olympic Orion med Adwen GmbH, datterselskap av Siemens Gamesa, for en periode på 6 måneder med påfølgende opsjoner. Kontraktsstart i 2. kvartal 2019. Olympic Orion er utstyrt med gangveisystem, 100 tonns kran og boligmodul for å utføre prosjekter på vindparker i Nordsjøen og i det Baltiske hav.

Aktiviteten fra fornybar markedet utgjør en vesentlig del av inntektsgrunnlaget for selskapet, og selskapet har etablert en sterk posisjon innenfor dette markedet.

«Vi ser det på det som en stor tillitserklæring fra en av de største aktørene innenfor offshore vindmøller og ser frem til å videreutvikle vårt forhold til Siemens» sier Stig Remøy (CEO).
 
Kontraktstildelinger for Olympic

Olympic Subsea er tildelt kontrakt for skipet Olympic Triton for en fast periode på 12 måneder pluss opsjoner. Oppdraget er i Vest Afrika for et internasjonalt oljeselskap med oppstart 2. kvartal 2019. Skipet er utstyrt med gangveisystem.

I tillegg har Olympic Artemis og Olympic Intervention IV hver blitt tildelt 2 mnd. kontrakter pluss opsjoner innen fornybar energi.

For sesongen 2019 vil Olympic Subsea ASAs inntekter innen fornybar energi være større enn inntektene fra olje & gass.
 
EIOF - Contract extension for «Viking Princess»

Chevron North Sea Limited has exercised their option to extend the contract for «Viking Princess» by 6 months from July 10, 2019.
 
Extension contract in Brazil

Norskan has been granted a 1-year extension for the Skandi Hav with Petrobras applicable from June 2019. Skandi Hav completed a conversion in 2009 and since then operated as a field support vessel for Petrobras.

Norskan has been granted a 1-year extension for the Skandi Botagofo with Petrobras applicable from June 2019. Skandi Botafogo is an AHTS (UT 722 L) built in 2006.
 
GC Rieber Shipping: Completed Sale of Ernest Shackleton

GC Rieber Shipping has completed the process of redelivery and sale of the icebreaking research vessel «Ernest Shackleton» to the new owner Istituto Nazionale di Oceanografia e di Geofisica Sperimentale (OGS).

The redelivery of the vessel from British Antarctic Survey (BAS) marked the end of a nearly 20-year relationship between British Antarctic Survey and GC Rieber Shipping.

Ernest Shackleton was developed by GC Rieber Shipping based on decades of icebreaker experience and built at Kværner Kleven Leirvik in Norway in 1995. The vessel, initially named Polar Queen, traded from delivery to 1999 in the North Sea offshore market before starting its service with BAS in the second half of 1999. She was officially renamed the "RRS Ernest Shackleton" in May 2000 by the Honourable Alexandra Shackleton, granddaughter of the famous polar explorer.

"We have truly enjoyed the good relationship with BAS and our arrangements have been mutually beneficial. The Ernest Shackleton has been chartered back to GC Rieber Shipping during North Sea summer seasons, providing GC Rieber Shipping with flexible tonnage during periods of high demand and BAS with additional charter hire" said Christoffer Knudsen, Chief Commercial Officer at GC Rieber Shipping.

CEO of GC Rieber Shipping, Einar Ytredal commented: "We are pleased to see part of our legacy fleet finding a good home with OGS. GC Rieber Shipping: Shearwater GeoServices awarded 4D surveys at Total's Tyra and Roar Fields in Denmark

GC Rieber Shipping ASA's 20% owned geoservices company Shearwater GeoServices ("Shearwater") is pleased to announce the award of a 4D seismic survey by Total E&P Danmark A/S ("Total") to be conducted this summer.

The Tyra, Tyra SE and Roar Fields are located offshore Denmark and the survey will be conducted by Shearwater's SW Amundsen vessel. Total has selected Shearwater's multi-sensor Isometrix acquisition system.
 
EIOF - Redelivery of seismic vessel

Eidesvik Offshore ASA and CGG have agreed to terminate with immediate effect the contract for «Viking Vanquish», that was due to expire November 2, 2020. Payment of charter rate will continue until November 2, 2020. The vessel has been in lay-up since February 2016.
 
Energy Empress - first employment

Golden Energy Offshore Services AS ("GEOS-ME) announced on 13 May 2019 the successful delivery of the vessel Energy Empress.

The vessel arrived in its home port Ålesund just prior to its naming ceremony which was held on Saturday 29 June 2019.

Energy Empress has secured its first job and will commence chartering services as soon as she has changed to NOR flag. The work is for a first class oil company on Norwegian continental shelf for up to 60 days. Vessel on-hire today.
 
DOF Group received several new contract awards

DOF Rederi AS (DOF) has been awarded three long-term contracts for the MRV's ;

"Skandi Hugen", "Skandi Nova" and "Skandi Marøy" by ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS.

The contracts have a duration of 5 years, with further 3 x 3 yearly options. The contracts will commence in Q4 2019 and Q1 2020.

ConocoPhillips Skandinavia AS have declared the options for IMR and ROV services from DOF Subsea Norway AS in connection with the MRV vessel Skandi Hugen, with the same duration.

The commercial terms of the contracts are confidential between the parties.

In a statement Mons Aase said, "We are pleased to have these contracts signed and are prepared to continue our good relationship with ConocoPhillips."
 
EIOF - 3-year contract award for Viking Avant

Eidesvik Offshore ASA ("Eidesvik") has been awarded a 3-year contract for Viking Avant from Equinor Energy AS in direct continuation of the current contract expiring end December 2019.

In a statement, Jan Fredrik Meling, CEO of Eidesvik Offshore ASA said, "We are very pleased with the new contract award from Equinor, which also enables us to install batteries and hybrid solutions for Viking Avant. This will be the 6th Eidesvik-vessel with batteries and hybrid solutions, and is a testament to Eidesvik's commitment to develop our business and fleet to meet the marketrequirements of today and the future."
 
GC Rieber Shipping: 5-month charter for Polar Queen

GC Rieber Shipping has entered into a time charter agreement with a European offshore client for the CSV vessel Polar Queen for a period of about 5 months with options to extend by up to one month. The project is the same as Polar Queen was engaged on during the summer of 2018 and 2019. The vessel will be used in British sector to perform accommodation services and walk-to-work duties, and commencement will be in April 2020.
