EIOF - Contract award for Viking Queen

Equinor Energy AS has awarded Eidesvik Offshore ASA a contract for Viking Queen.

The firm contract period is 6 months, commencing in direct continuation of the current contract expiring ultimo August 2019.
 
Atlantic Offshore - 3 x Contract updates

We are pleased to inform that DEFRA has declared a 9 month option for Ocean Osprey, commencing end of June. Total UK has declared one year option for Ocean Troll, commencing mid-July, and Equinor has declared one year option for Ocean Marlin, commencing mid-September.
 
DOF Subsea contract awards

DOF Subsea has been awarded several contracts, securing utilisation for vessels in the Subsea/IMR Projects segment.

In the Atlantic region, Skandi Skansen has been awarded a contract for mooring installation on the Njord Future project by Equinor.

The Atlantic region further announces successful contract awards on the UKCS for two operators to undertake 60 days of work using the Geosund, one of which is called off under a long-term frame agreement. The works include pipeline inspection and environmental sampling.

In the North America region, DOF Subsea is pleased to announce a 3-year renewal of a frame agreement with a major operator in the US Gulf of Mexico (GOM). Under the frame agreement, DOF Subsea will be responsible for the final assembly, transportation and installation of well production jumpers and control flying leads to support new tie-ins to existing brownfields. The primary installation vessel will be the Jones Act compliant vessel Harvey Deep Sea.
 
Energy Swan and Energy Scout - Contract Extensions

Golden Energy Offshore Services AS (GEOS-ME) is pleased to inform that a contract extension has been secured for Energy Swan and Energy Scout.

Energy Swan

A contract extension has been secured with Wintershall Norge AS. The contract is in direct continuation of the charter contract from 2013. The large PSV Energy Swan was in 2013 chartered for a firm period of 4 years + optional (total of 5 years options). Wintershall Norge AS and GEOS agreed after expiration of the firm period several extensions, latest with firm period to 31 August 2019. The parties have now agreed that the vessel will remain firm on charter in direct continuation present firm period and till 30 November 2019. The charter rate reflects the market conditions. The parties have further agreed that Charterers continue having options available to charter the vessel as per the original charter (till 30 November 2021).

Vessel have 100% contract coverage ytd.

Energy Scout

In beginning of January 2019 the vessel entered directly from previous term contract- in to a short term contract with SNEPCO (Shell) where vessel was firm until mid-April 2019 when new contract with SPDC (Shell) was entered into with expire 15th July. The parties have now agreed that the vessel will be extended with 6 months firm contract and vessel remain firm on charter in direct continuation present firm period and till 20 January 2020. Terms reflect short term market in region which is reasonably tight on availability of this type of high spec PSV tonnage.

Vessel have 99% utilization ytd.
 
Long term contract extension for CSV Far Sentinel

Solstad Offshore ASA ("SOFF") and Subtec S.A has agreed to extend the contract for the CSV "Far Sentinel" with 2,5 years. The vessel operates in Mexico. The duration of the contract is now firm until 31.12.2022, plus 2 yearly options thereafter.

The "Far Sentinel" has been on contract to Subtec S.A since 2015.
 
 
GC Rieber Shipping: Ship management agreement with Nexans and extension of Polar King

GC Rieber Shipping (RISH) has agreed with Nexans Skagerrak AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Nexans Norway AS, to enter into a ship management agreement for the cable laying vessel Nexans Skagerrak. The agreement also includes management of the Nexans' state of the art cable laying vessel Nexans Aurora once it gets delivered from Ulstein yard in 2021.

The agreement is expected to be executed in Q3 2019 and hand over of the vessel to RISH to take place in September 2019.

The addition of these two vessels grows RISH fleet of specialised vessels, managed on behalf of third-party owners, from six to eight. These come in addition to the RISH owned fleet.

In addition to the ship management agreement, RISH and Nexans have agreed to an extension of ongoing charter of CSV Polar King by up to two months. The vessel has been on charter with Nexans since January 2017 and were originally set to come off chart in August, the charter will now continue until medio October.

Energy Duchess enter market

Golden Energy Offshore brought the second of the two newbuildings Energy Duchess into Northsea spot market and Energy Duchess arrived Aberdeen late yesterday 30. July, and we are pleased to see that the Energy Duchess are fixed directly to a Northsea Major for her first job commencing today 31. July.

The sister vessel Energy Empress has since arrival in Northsea served AkerBP and still do with excellent performance.
 
Extension of contract

ODL AS and Texas A&M Research Foundation ("TAMRF") have agreed to extend the current contract of TAMRF's charter of the scientific research vessel 'JOIDES Resolution' until 30 September 2024. ODL AS is a 100% owned subsidiary of Siem Offshore Inc.
 
Long term contract for PSV Skandi Feistein with Esso Australia

DOF Rederi AS, a wholly owned subsidiary of DOF ASA, has signed a 5-year contract for the PSV Skandi Feistein with Esso Australia Pty Ltd.

The contract will commence in second half 2019. Skandi Feistein is a large PSV built in Norway in 2011.

Contract award for Skandi Skansen

DOF Subsea Group is proud to announce the successful contract award for a major operator within the UKCS sector to decommission subsea infrastructure in Q3, 2019. The works will be undertaken by the Skandi Skansen together with DOF owned AHTS vessels. This is the second award with the same operator in as many months in the decommissioning segment.
 
New contract in Brazil

Solstad Offshore has entered into a contract with Total E&P do Brasil (Total) for charter of a PSV for 13 months firm. Total has the option to extend the charter with additional 2 x 6 months.

Commencement of the contract is in August 2019, and the AHTS Far Sagaris will be the lead-in vessel until a PSV from the Solstad fleet will take over later this year. The vessels shall support Total's activities in the Lapa Field.

The Lapa consortium is operated by Total, with a 35% interest, in partnership with Shell (30%), Repsol Sinopec Brasil (25%) and Petrobras (10%).

In addition, Equinor Brazil has extended the Contracts for the PSV's Far Scotsman and Far Serenade with 3 months each. Both vessels are now firm until Nov-19 and shall continue to support Equinor Brazil's portfolio activities.
 
New contracts

DOF has been awarded two AHTS contracts to support drilling operations in New Zealand. Skandi Emerald and Skandi Atlantic, built in 2011 and 2012 respectively, have been contracted by OMV NZ for 2 wells firm, plus 2 x 1 well options, to support drilling rig COSL Prospector. Both vessels are currently supporting the same rig with another Operator in New Zealand, and commencement with OMV will be on completion of this campaign during Q4 2019.

Contracts update – Ocean Star and Ocean Art

We are proud to announce that Equinor has declared 3 yearly options for Ocean Star, and 3 yearly options for Ocean Art, ending June and August 2023. Atlantic Offshore are also in the process of installing batteries for hybrid propulsion on these vessels. This is expected to reduce Co2 emissions by 15% over the lifetime of the batteries.

The contract between Equinor and Atlantic Offshore was signed in Bergen on the 19.August 2019.


 
Extension Skandi Fluminense

Norskan and Petrobras have signed a 1 year extension until September 2020 for the AHTS Skandi Fluminense. The vessel, built in 2007, is an AHTS 18.000 with 1 WROV operated by DOF Subsea on board.
 
Contract extension for CSV Normand Pacific

Solstad Offshore ASA ("Solstad") is pleased to announce that Prysmian Powerlink Srl (Prysmian) has exercised their option to extend the firm contract for CSV Normand Pacific with two years. The firm period will expire on the December 31st 2021. In addition, Prysmian has the option to extend the contract with 3 years beyond the firm period.

The Normand Pacific has been on charter with Prysmian since August 2016.
 
Contracts for two vessels in Brazil

Petrobras has declared their options to extend the contracts for the two AHTS´s Far Scout and Far Santana with 1 year.

Both contracts are then firm to 3Q 2020 and the vessels shall support Petrobras operations in Brazilian waters.
 
2 x Contract updates

We are pleased to inform that Ocean Don has been awarded a one well contract with Equinor UK, commencing mid-September 2019.

We have a long and good relationship with Repsol Sinopec Resources in the UK, and are proud to announce that Ocean Tay has been awarded a two year firm, and five yearly option. Commencement will be in January 2020, in direct continuation of the existing contract.
