New Build WDV ST-269 Jones Act Compliant
Triumph Subsea Services is pleased to announce a commitment to build a Jones Act compliant WDV based on our ST269 design. The WDV will provide a turnkey installation service for the floating wind market on the East and West North American Coast. Based on current discussions with the yard, LOI issuance is expected within three to six months with a target of being in contract and cutting steel within twelve to eighteen months thereafter. Estimated build time from steel cutting is 34-36 months. WDV will be fitted with 600ton multi-purpose tower, SMD QT1600 and QT500 trenchers, 200TE plough and 2 x modular ATOM EV Electric WROVs. This is an additional vessel to the existing new build 2 + 2 programme that is going to take place with Brodosplit / Kleven Verft and will be the first USA built Jones Act compliant vessel to service the windfarm sector. The WDV will also be the first USA built vessel fitted with enhanced crew safety features such as the MARSS MOBtronic™ automated man overboard detection / tracking system and MARSS NiDAR™ autonomous threat detection, surveillance and anti-piracy countermeasures system.
