The TT fleet in 2022

This was not my idea... Hva var ikke din idé? Å redusere antall anløp i Rostock fra TT-Line til 2/dag? Vanskelig å lese det du skrev på annen måte: Both newbuildings only on TRA-TRE with 2 fast day-departures and 1 long night-trip and both routes to Germany.... Du hadde vel ikke tenkt å la nattfergen anløpe Rostock?
But the Rostock-Trelleborg route is not optimal for a classic RoPax-Route,..... for all other customer-groups the traveltime is too long Sier hvem? Foruten deg?
How much trucks has TT to/from Rostock daily and how much trailers has TT to/from Rostock ? Det varierer over året, hvor stor andel som er løse semitrailere hhv vogntog. Totalt har Stena og TT-Line tilsammen 7 mer eller mindre fulle avganger til Rostock pr. dag.
And especially in winter TT could offer day-shoppingcruises....... Hurtigferger om vinteren?!

DROTTEN kommer ikke til å kunne fortsette, når subsidiene, som er gitt under falske forutsetninger, faller bort. FINNJET ble nødt til å øke reisetiden med 50% når oljekrisen kom i 1974. Fikk den noen efterfølger? Nei. Ikke bare DELPHIN men også Polferries' katamaran Ystad – Świnoujście ble tatt ut av rute efter kort tid.
Men presenter dine planer for TT-Line. Du kanskje får et konsulentoppdrag!
 
Sure - as Molslinjen, Bornholmslinjen and many other Katamarans the ROS-TRE "Fast-marans" would be needed all the year around, maybe each some weeks docking-time / crew-holidays in jan./febr. ... .
Please forget the Polferries-Katamaran BOOMERANG - this was just a crazy idea from Polferries - the route was too long and too less passengers, so this project was finished fast again. And please - such old ships as FINNJET with "Gasturbinenantrieb" from the 70ies has really nothing to do with brandnew faster "-marans" with LNG etc. .

No solution is 100% perfect, but with the actually (or similar) RoPax - Ferries as the actually 4 (2 Stena + 2 TT) it is only a good offer for freight-customers - also for long time in the future. And if TT can fill ca. 6000 lm or more daily they would need 1 big freighter + 2 "Fast-marans" which could offer ca. 3000lm only in 24 hours. With only 1 departure per day with a big trailer-RoRo like VILLA DE TAZACORTE (actually officially for sale) TT could offer more than 6500 lm / 24 hours totally together with 2 "Fast-marans" (= the same capacity as today). If it should be to less lm in future one "Fast-maran" could go an extra round-trip in the night or the RoRo-freighter goes faster (26,5 knots max. possible) and offer extra roundtrips or 2 departures daily.

We will see what is in 6, 8 or 10 years - i think that FRS has actually not the money now for more Katamarans but her TARIFA JET has nothing to do and there is extremly hard competition in the street of Gibraltar, maybe better move the TARIFA JET to Rostock-Ystad... :) . But if TT is not trying this with faster ferries maybe another ferry-company will start anytime in the future a faster service Rostock-Trelleborg/Ystad. Stena will replace suspected the both actually RoPax ca. 2032/2034 with 2 electric slowly RoPax if the project Stena Electric (is planned with a speed of 19 knots) is successfully. If nothing happens Scandlines Rostock-Gedser will be the big winner and FRS Sassnitz-Ystad the small winner also for longtime in the future between East-Germany and Sweden.

Nu seiler jo faktisk samtlige syv TT-Line-ferger noen gang til Rostock, og NILS HOLGERSSON, PETER PAN, ROBIN HOOD, HUCKLEBERRY FINN og TOM SAWYER regelmessig. Og m.h.p. at de kun er interessante for gods, så er det Rostock- og Świnoujście-rutene som er interessante for meg, som landgangspassasjer, som skal fortsette med tog, aldeles ikke Travemünde-ruten. Kan ikke huske når jeg senest reiste fra Trelleborg til Travemünde, for å fortsette, men det må ha vært noen gang i åttiårene, i alle tilfeller før det forferdelige arrangementet med Hafenhaus.

Rostock – Ystad?! Se kartet over Østersjøen!
 
Rostock-Ystad/Trelleborg/Malmö would be nearly the same for all people with cars, caravans, touristbuses and trucks. YOU need Trelleborg, but 99,9% of all other passengers are not living in Trelleborg directly... - and are not travelling with trains also... . But - as we have said some weeks ago - i think that a shuttle-bus between each port and the city/trainstation is absolute important.

I can only give the advice to TT to use MOSTLY USUALLY the 2 same ferries only on each route in the future as it was also in the past longer time ago. The result from sometimes "each ferry on each route" is often chaos and a lot of negative reports in Tripadvisor etc. . TT has now only 2,5 from 5 points - just to compare: F.ex. Brittany Ferries has 4 from 5 points with normally always the same ferries on each route.
 
Europaveiene går till Malmö. Derfra er det 30 km til Trelleborg og 55 km til Ystad. Der er en grunn til hvorfor Unity Line, som allerede var vel etablert på Ystad – Świnoujście, også begynte å gå på Trelleborg, og nu har 4 ferger til Trelleborg og kun 3 til Ystad. Der er en grunn til at Trelleborg er Skandinavias største ro/ro-havn og Sveriges andre største godshavn, uten å ha fraktskipsanløp.

Det trengs ikke shuttle bus fra Hamnterminalen i Trelleborg til hverken jernbanestasjonen eller bykjernen – den ligger like ved. Om nu kun 1 promille av passasjerene reiser med tog, ifølge dine veldig eksakte opplysninger, hvorfor skulle det da være viktig med en shuttle bus til jernbanestasjonen? Jeg skulle virkelig ikke ville sitte på en shuttle bus hele veien fra Hafenhaus Travemünde til Lübeck Hbf. Da tar jeg heller en bybuss fra Rostock Fährhafen til S-bhf Lütten Klein. Men best er jo Świnoujście og Trelleborg, hvor fergeterminalen ligger ved jernbanestasjonen.

Jeg må innrømme at jeg får assosiasjoner til Scandlines AGs argumentasjon mot den faste Femern Bælt-forbindelsen, når jeg leser dine innlegg.

Men send dine forslag til TT-Line, du.

Ærlig talt tror jeg efterhvert at det kun er du og jeg som leser denne tråden fortsatt, så kanskje skulle vi sette punktum her.

AKKA tilbake i Trelleborg for mindre enn en time siden
 
Now i am really confused... . So the figure Nils Holgersson is fresh painted on top of Akka of Kebnekaise goose on the side of the ferry AKKA ?
But all the big rost areas are not painted ??? I think that someone must explain TT how extremly negative it is with "rost" ferries - today every passenger/tourist makes a lot of pictures of the ferry - also walking tourists nearby Travemünde - and this is seen then in the social-networks by really many people. And the first impression is the most important always. So it is possible to save money in 1000 things (f.ex. homeport Bahamas instead of Lübeck) - but to save money for new white painting often is the wrong way... .

The newbuilding NILS HOLGERSSON is still in the yard in China. They need now soon the 2nd round of sea-trials - otherwise the ferry will not be in Germany before Eastern-Holidays in April when the TT timetables seems so, that the newbuilding is planned for to start then.

No, it's still the old picture from when she was NILS HOLGERSSON. And it's Mårten Gås Nils Holgersson is riding on, not Akka. The only painting, that seems to have been done in Klaipéda, is white painting over the old name and the new name in blue (and not even the same blue colour).

28. march is "60 years TT-Line" in Trelleborg with many actions and discount-offers in Facebook etc. - this says a svensk newsletter with many historic pictures which i have received today. There is also some (known) infos from the new "Greenferry-Generation" but i think, that the brandnew Nils Holgersson will not arrive in Trelleborg from China coming before 28.march, it seems so, that it takes actually some weeks for last finishing works on the ferry. Interesting compare:
NILS HOLGERSSON 1962: 180 lm + 900 Pax
NILS HOLGERSSON 2022: 4600 lm + 800 Pax
So today "Ro" is much more important than "Pax"... .
 
Guess not all will agree with me on this, but I have always been a fan of the TT-Line vessels like e.g. "Nils Holgersson" - some may says is bulky without any lines, I say it shows a powerful and impressive RoPax vessel

Yes - it was yesterday told in all german TV channels and many Newspapers, this website is hacked by "Anonymous" Hacker-Organisation and it means "Fuck Putin". It was also the yacht GRACEFUL from Putin - now from Hamburg to New York (=nonsens, she is in Kalingrad).
