SALE OF FREIGHT FERRY

DFDS has entered into an agreement with Attica Group to sell a freight ferry (ro-ro), Anglia Seaways, built in 2000 with a freight capacity of 1,680 lane metres. Delivery of the ferry is expected latest 5 July 2019.

The selling price of the ferry is DKK 90m. The sale is expected to entail a profit of around DKK 35m that will be included in the income statement under Special items.
 
FERRY SALE TO OPTIMISE FLEET UTILISATION

DFDS has entered into an agreement to sell a combined freight and passenger ferry (ro-pax) - Liverpool Seaways, built 1997 - to La Meridionale. It is agreed that the ferry will be delivered to the new owner in April 2020.

Liverpool Seaways is currently deployed in DFDS' Baltic route network and is planned to be replaced by a ferry from DFDS' existing fleet.

Completion of the sale is agreed for April 2020 with proceeds of around DKK 200m and an expected accounting profit of around DKK 100m to be recorded under Special items. The sale has no material impact on the outlook for 2019.
 
"Liverpool Seaways" er nå overlevert til La Meridionale og skifta namn til "Pelagos"

Videre har Brittany Ferries tilbakelevert "Baie De Seine" til DFDS etter fem års chart som igjen har gitt den det gamle namnet "Sirena Seaways" og samtdig satt den inn i ruta Karlshamn-Klaipeda som "Liverpool Seaways" hadde
