Contract awards for CSVs​

Solstad Offshore ASA ("Solstad") is pleased to announce awards of multiple contracts involving several of its subsea vessels (CSV). The contracts have a combined firm utilization of 640 days, with additional options thereafter, on projects in the North Sea, Brazil and West Africa.

The contracts, that have a combined value of approximately NOK 400 million, including additional services, will be executed during 2022 by Solstads CSVs Normand Maximus, Normand Frontier, Normand Pioneer and Normand Navigator.

The marked for subsea construction vessel continue to improve with strong demand from both renewable energy and oil & gas activity.
 

DOF Subsea Awarded Esso Australia Contract​


DOF Subsea is pleased to announce the award of a long-term contract to provide a Multi-Purpose Supply Vessel (MPSV) to Esso Australia Pty Ltd.

DOF Subsea Australia Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of DOF Subsea AS, has signed a three -year firm plus 2 x 1 year options contract to provide an MPSV to Esso Australia Pty Ltd.

Preparatory support services associated with the contract are underway with delivery of the vessel to follow later in 2022.

Contract awards within renewable energy​

Solstad Offshore ASA (Solstad) is pleased to announce the following contract awards from clients within renewable energy for three of its subsea vessels (CSV).

Normand Australis, a 150 days firm contract for “Walk to Work” services on an Offshore Wind project in Asia. The contract will commence during March 2022.

Normand Cutter, a 110 days firm contract for a cable project in Northern Europe with commencement in February 2022.

Normand Fortress, a 180 days firm contract for “Walk to Work” services on an Offshore Wind project in Northern Europe. The contract will commence in April 2023.

The contracts have a combined value of approximately NOK 175 million.

Solstad continue to see an increase in demand for CSVs from the renewable energy clients, both in Europe and Asia.
 

Contract extension AHTS Avalon Sea​

Siem Offshore has been awarded a contract extension in Canada.

The extension refers to the multirole AHTS vessel Avalon Sea, covering a firm
duration of another 6 months upon completion of the current contract. This will
ensure continued operations for the vessel well into Q4 2022.
 

Contract for CSV Normand Valiant

Solstad Offshore ASA is pleased to announce contract award for the CSV Normand Valiant with PETROBRAS. The charter is 2 years firm with possibility of 2 years extension. Commencement of the contract will take place in 2Q 2022. The contract has a gross value of approximately NOK 350 million, including additional services.

Normand Valiant will provide accommodation services to support production activities in the Brazilian continental shelf.

Contract extension for CSV Normand Clipper with Global Marine Group​

Solstad Offshore ASA and Global Marine Group have agreed to extend their present contract for the CSV Normand Clipper with further three years to May 2026, and additional options thereafter.

Global Marine Group will continue to utilize the vessel to support their world-wide cable lay operations.

The commercial terms and conditions are confidential between the parties.
 
EIOF – Long term contract award for Acergy Viking

Eidesvik Offshore ASA ("Eidesvik") has been awarded a time charter with Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy GmbH & Co. KG (“Siemens Gamesa”) for the SOV Acergy Viking. The contract will commence in direct continuation of the current contract extending the firm period until end January 2027.

Jan Fredrik Meling, CEO & President, commented: “Our relationship with Siemens Gamesa began in August 2016, and we are proud of the award effectively extending the relationship further to at least 2027. I view this as a significant compliment to the services provided by our personnel offshore as well as onshore. We are very pleased to again prove our ability to build long term relationships with our clients. This contract award underpins our ambitions in offshore wind and will further strengthen our position in this important and growing market.”

Fleet update - Secure term contracts​


GOLDEN ENERGY OFFSHORE SERVICES AS has secured term contract for the vessels with first class international operators.

ENERGY EMPRESS
Vessel are fixed and firm to first class international operators to conduct environmental monitoring activities and sampling, which include, but are not limited to geomorphological, chemical, physical, and biological analyses. Vessel has been trading North sea spot market, with busy Q4-21 and somewhat slower market so far in Q1TD-22. For the new contract mobilization and de-mobilization of top side equipment will take place in Norway and operation offshore Ghana.

Contract has commenced.

Period is 100 days firm plus options – Contract are on today’s market terms.

ENERGY DUCHESS
GEOS has secured a contract to first class international operator in direct continuation from present contract. Vessel has since reactivation in June-21(ref notice 17 June 2021) maintain very high utilization and through Q3-21 and Q1TD-22 maintain 100% utilization. Vessel are presently completing a job at Trinidad & Tobago / USGOM and will be redelivered to Owners in Esbjerg in time to commence her new contract. New contract period are firm for 150 days plus options on today’s market terms.

ENERGY SWAN
Energy Swan entered it’s long term contract 1st November 21 (Ref notice 17 September 2021) and performing good and her large capacities and capabilities are optimal utilized throughout. GEOS completed installation of shore power connections to facilitate use as per IEC PAS 80005-3 and system has been in regular use since commencement of contract.

Contract remain same and as announced 17 September 2021 and duration is 12 months firm, in addition Repsol Norge AS have options to use the vessel for a total additional period up to 12 months and if options are used, GEOS are secured full utilization on the vessel until end of 2023.

We are pleased to announce the new contract awards - which along with the existing secure 100% utilization of the active vessels through remaining of Q1-22 and Q2-22, 70% back log for Q3 and 60% Q4 – 22. The firm back log has a consolidated value in excess of NOK 65 million.

Golden Energy Offshore Services continue to pursue possibilities for the vessels and along with company future plans in both O&G and Renewable.

EIOF - Contract award for Subsea Viking

Eidesvik Offshore ASA has been awarded a new contract by Seabed Geosolutions under the Master Time Charter Agreement for Subsea Viking. The new contract will commence in direct continuation of the existing contract. The firm period is approximately 4 months with options for extensions.

Helt enig. Den har vel ligget på verft noen uker nå, så må jo anta at de har en mening med det. Enten tradisjonell subsea (olje/gass eller fornybar) eller sjøbunnsseismikk?

EIOF - Contract award for Subsea Viking​

Eidesvik Offshore ASA has been awarded a contract by PXGEO UK Ltd under the Master Time Charter Agreement for Subsea Viking. The contract will commence ultimo April 2022, in direct continuation of the existing stand-by contract. The firm period is 100 days with options for extensions.
 

Havila Shipping ASA: Nye kontrakter


Havila Shipping har inngått ny kontrakt med Nexans Norway AS for subsea fartøyet Havila Phoenix. Kontrakten er i direkte fortsettelse av eksisterende kontrakt og er fast ut oktober 2022, med opsjonsperioder opp til 60 dager deretter.

Selskapet har også inngått kontrakt med Peterson Den Helder BV for PSV fartøyet Havila Herøy for 70 dager fast pluss opsjoner.

Det er også inngått kontrakter knyttet til prosjektarbeid for AHTS fartøyet Havila Venus for totalt 64 dager fast pluss opsjoner.
 
New agreement in place for the WIV “Siem Helix 1” and WIV “Siem Helix 2”

Siem Offshore and Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc, has entered into an Agreement for the Well Intervention Vessels “Siem Helix 1” and “Siem Helix 2”.

The agreements will replace the existing contracts and the new firm period will be 3 years for “Siem Helix 1” and 5 years for “Siem Helix 2” with subsequent options for both vessels. Commencement will be in direct continuation of present contracts within Q1 2022. The extension reconfirms that the Company plays an important role in the Well Intervention segment, and we are very pleased to see a key client such as Helix Energy Solutions extend our professional relationship.

Total contract backlog for SIOFF is now USD 440 million.
 

Contract extension for CSV Normand Vision

Solstad Offshore ASA is pleased to announce that Havfram AS have exercised their option to extend present contract for CSV Normand Vision. The firm contract will then expire December 31st, 2023 and there are no further options thereafter.

Normand Vision is a high-capacity Construction Vessel designed and built for installation of Subsea Structures, Umbilicals, Risers and Flowlines (SURF) and has been working for Havfram AS since 2014.
 

New charter for REM EIR


Remøy Shipping has been awarded a five-year charter with Equinor for the vessel REM EIR (2014, PSV VS 4412 DF). REM EIR has been on successive term contracts with Equinor since delivery in 2014. The charter will commence in direct continuation of the current contract on 28 May 2022. The firm period is five years with additional three by one-year options.

REM EIR is a large and modern PSV equipped with LNG Dual Fuel engines and Hybrid Electric system. The vessel is one of the most efficient and environmentally friendly vessels currently operating in the North Sea.

Remøy Shipping signed in 2021 a collaboration agreement with Wartsila for the purpose of developing zero emission solutions for the vessel’s power system. The new Equinor charter includes a potential upgrade of the vessel’s machinery to use Ammonia as fuel – an important step towards reducing emissions from maritime operations.

This new contract is the result of the hard work and dedication from our crews and employees over many years”, says Karl-Johan Bakken, CEO of Remøy Shipping AS. “Quality operations and assets are a key part of our service offering. Our PSVs are amongst the most modern and environmentally friendly in the North Sea.

We are pleased to see that Equinor recognize our long-term commitment for improving safety of our operations and reducing the environmental footprint. This new contract will contribute to Equinor’s goal to reduce carbon emission from maritime operations by 50% within 2030 and includes a potential conversion of REM EIR’s machinery to operate on ammonia. As such, the close cooperation between Equinor, Remøy Shipping and Wartsila pave the way for further developing new zero emission technologies for offshore vessels and we appreciate the opportunity to take part in this exciting journey.”
 

FLEET UPDATE – Term contract and reactivation - Energy Scout​

GOLDEN ENERGY OFFSHORE SERVICES AS has secured a term contract for ENERGY SCOUT and has started reactivation process. Vessel has been 16 months in warm lay-up caused by the downturn in the market as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic. The term contract for the vessel is to a first class international operator and work scope Survey; Geotechnical, Geophysical & IMR duties.Contract are on marked terms and conditions.

Golden Energy Offshore AS has now secured term contracts for 4 of its 4 vessels and have well in excess of 90% utilization until Q4-22, in an improving market.
