Contract award within renewable energy​

Solstad Offshore ASA is pleased to announce a contract award for the subsea construction vessel ("CSV") Normand Baltic and a contract extension for the CSV Normand Navigator. The contracts are for renewable energy projects in North Europe and Asia and represents a combined firm utilization of 310 days, with additional options thereafter. Normand Baltic contract will cover the majority of Q4-22 and Q1-2023, while Normand Navigator now has a firm contract to Q4 2023.

The contracts have a combined value of approximately NOK 320 million including addition services, such as ROV’s, Walk to Work-system and other project support.

The clients are recognized operators within the renewable energy segment.
 

New five years contract for PSV Normand Falnes​

Solstad Offshore ASA is pleased to announce that TotalEnergies UK and Solstad Offshore have entered into a long-term contract for the PSV Normand Falnes. The contract, which will be for five years firm plus options, is one of the first long-term contracts awarded in the UK North Sea for a battery-hybrid installed PSV.

The vessel will be utilized by TotalEnergies UK to support their UK North Sea assets and the contract will commence during November 2022.

DOF Subsea awarded MPSV Contracts in Guyana​

DOF Subsea is pleased to announce the award of a 3-year contract for two vessels with Esso Exploration & Production Guyana Limited. Under the agreement, DOF Subsea will perform IMR, well intervention support, and light subsea construction activities to support the growing subsea infrastructures in the
Stabroek Block offshore Guyana.

Two Multipurpose Support Construction Vessels with 250-ton AHC crane and 2 work class ROV systems will be deployed in Guyana for 3-year terms, plus 2 years options.

The first vessel will mobilize in late October while the second vessel is planned to commence in January 2023.

Contract awards DOF Group​

The DOF Group is pleased to announce extension of a contract in Brazil and new contracts in West-Africa and in the North Sea.

Petrobras has awarded an extension of the Skandi Amazonas contract with Norskan Offshore Ltda until March 2023. Skandi Amazonas is a 21.000 class Brazilian flagged AHTS vessel.

DOF Subsea has have been awarded a contract to support a FPU for a major operator in West-Africa. The Group will utilise the vessels Skandi Constructor, Skandi Iceman and Skandi Hera, and one third-party vessel.

Skandi Captain has secured a contract with a client to support drilling operations in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. The charter will commence within November 2022 and is expected to provide 100 days of vessel utilisation.

The estimated firm backlog for these contracts is approximately NOK 260 million.
 

EIOF – Contract extension for Viking Princess​

Wintershall Dea has declared an option to extend the contract for the supply vessel “Viking Princess” from January 2023 in direct continuation of the current contract, extending the firm period to July 2023.

Viking Princess was the world’s first offshore vessel with a battery hybrid solution replacing a traditional generator set. In November 2021, the vessel was also equipped with a shore power system. CEO & President of Eidesvik Offshore ASA, Gitte Gard Talmo, commented: “This contract extension shows satisfaction with the performance of the vessel and our crew, and we look forward to continuing supporting the company’s activities on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.”

Fartøyet Normand Vision har fått kontrakt med Havfram AS i tre år fra januar 2024, med opsjoner på ytterligere to år. Dette er en fortsettelse av en tidligere kontrakt.
Normand Ocean har fått forlenget en kontrakt med DeepOcean AS for to år fra januar 2024, med opsjon på ytterligere ett år.

Selskapet har inngått en intensjonsavtale for Normand Pioneer med et stort energiselskap i Sør-Amerika i en periode på 14 måneder fra november 2022, med opsjon på ytterligere ett år.

Contract award - Siem Symphony​

Siem Offshore has been awarded a 4-6 month contract commencing in Q2 2023, with BP Canada. The battery hybrid PSV Siem Symphony will mobilize to Canada for the contract.
 
DOF Contract and Fleet update

DOF Group is pleased to announce multiple new contracts in Atlantic region and the long-term charter of the CSV vessel Havila Phoenix.

The region has been awarded an Integrated Field Support Vessel (FSV) contract with an international operator in West-Africa. The contract is 365 days firm, with 365 days of options. DOF shall deliver project management, engineering,
procurement and logistics within deep-water construction and maintenance of
existing subsea infrastructure. The project shall utilise Skandi Seven for the
contract.

The region has also been awarded multiple FEED studies towards prospective floating wind developments in the Atlantic region. DOF shall use its project management, engineering and logistical expert teams to outline marine operation solutions, including mooring and dynamic cable installation.

DOF is further pleased to announce the charter of Havila Phoenix on a 3-year
firm plus 2-year option contract, with commencement in Q1, 2023. Havila Phoenix is a large and modern CSV, equipped with one 250-ton AHC offshore crane, one 20-ton AHC offshore crane, 2 WROVs and a large construction deck. The vessel will be utilised within the DOF Subsea's project segment.

Awarded five-year contracts for two PSVs​

Solstad Offshore ASA (Solstad Offshore, OSE: SOFF) today announces that its PSVs Normand Naley and Sea Frost have been awarded five-year contracts by Equinor UK Limited (Equinor).

Both contracts will run for five years from January 2023. The contracts include options for further extensions. The Sea Frost, which has been on contract with Equinor since 2017, will be upgraded with a battery-hybrid system and shore power as part of the contract. The Normand Naley is already equipped with a battery-hybrid system and shore power.

"We have supported Equinor's UK operations since 2016 and are proud to agree these new long-term contracts. With these contract awards, Solstad Offshore has three PSVs installed with battery-hybrid systems and shore power operating in the UK sector on a long-term basis. The three vessels, equal to approximately 15 percent of our UK fleet, will help reduce both fuel consumption, emissions and operating expenditure," says Kenneth Lande, EVP and head of global AHTS & PSV segment at Solstad Offshore.
 

DOF Subsea awarded construction support contract in Malaysia​

DOF Subsea Asia Pacific Pte Ltd has been awarded a contract to provide construction support for riser and spool installation including air and saturation diving in association with a brownfield expansion project in Malaysia.

The award includes project management, engineering, procurement, transportation and installation services and is expected to be completed during Q2 2023. The project will utilise the DSV Skandi Singapore, which, with an in-built saturation diving system and 140Te AHC crane, is ideally suited to these operations.

Skudeneshavn, Norway, 23 December 2022 - Solstad Offshore ASA (Solstad, OSE: SOFF) has received Letters of Award from various undisclosed subsea contractors for hire of the CSV Normand Maximus for execution of projects during 2023.

The projects have a combined duration of minimum 200 days plus additional option periods, and value of the firm part is approx. NOK 500 million.

The subsea construction vessel Normand Maximus is 178 meters long, has a 900t AHC crane, 550t VLS, can accommodate up to 180 people and is the largest vessel in Solstad's fleet

Contract extension for OSCV Siem Barracuda

Siem Offshore has been awarded a contract extension of 7 months firm for the OSCV Siem Barracuda on the Hywind Tampen project for client Equinor. The vessel has recently operated mainly within the offshore wind segment worldwide, and we are now very pleased to be a vital part of this challenging offshore floating wind project with operations in the North Sea.
 
Contract award in Brazil

Solstad Offshore ASA is pleased to announce a new contract for the CSV Normand Flower with PETROBRAS. The contract is for 3 years firm with 475 days options thereafter.

Normand Flower will sail under REB Flag, supporting exploration and production activities in Brazilian continental shelf. Commencement of the contract will take place within April 2022.

TechnipFMC Awarded Substantial Subsea Services Offshore Brazil Contract by Petrobras​

NEWCASTLE & HOUSTON, January 24, 2023 — TechnipFMC (NYSE: FTI) has been awarded a substantial(1) master services agreement (MSA) for subsea services with Petrobras. The three-year contract has an option to extend for a further two years.
TechnipFMC will provide life-of-field services to support its installed base offshore Brazil. The contract covers installation, intervention, and maintenance of both equipment and tooling, as well as technical support for subsea umblicals, risers and flowlines.
The agreement succeeds a previous MSA and supports Petrobras’s increased volume of operations. Services will be supplied from TechnipFMC’s base in Macaé, Brazil.
Jonathan Landes, President, Subsea at TechnipFMC, commented: “This new MSA continues our enduring partnership with Petrobras. We are delighted to continue this relationship through this direct award. For 40 years, we have provided services from Macaé, demonstrating the strength of our commitment to delivering services using our in-country workforce.”

(1) For TechnipFMC, a “substantial” contract is between $250 million and $500 million. Note: a portion of this inbound order was included in the Company’s fourth quarter 2022 financial results. A portion of this award will be inbound in future periods.
 

AHTS contract in Brazil​


DOF is pleased to announce that Petrobras has awarded a new long-term charter contract to Norskan Offshore Ltda. for an AHTS to operate as AHTS-TS or TO.

Skandi Ipanema has been contracted for 4 years firm + 1 year option with Petrobras.

The gross value of the contract that is planned to start up to 3[rd] quarter 2023 is approx. USD 51 million.
