On October 27th, NB 974 for Purus touched water for the very first time at Vard Vung Tau.

This vessel is one of two Commissioning Service Operation Vessels (CSOVs) being designed and built for Purus – a major step forward in supporting sustainable offshore wind operations.

The VARD 4 19 design, developed by Vard Design in Ålesund, has been upgraded and tailor-made in close collaboration with Purus to deliver strong environmental performance. With a hull optimized for low fuel consumption and resistance, as well as high operability and onboard comfort, this vessel represents the future of efficient and sustainable operations at sea.

Congratulations to everyone involved in reaching this exciting milestone!
