hmm, I work in the superyacht industry and there it is often the case that the interiors are still a mess at delivery time, because all the owner-provided furnishings are not yet in place. Does it work the same in the cruise industry perhaps?

In any case, I don't think she is officially delivered yet. She can not yet be found in the online register of her class society Lloyds Register and in Equasis and IHS her status is also still "launched".

Yes christened, but again, not formally handed over I think. Keep in mind the ship is late and they still have four weeks until the end of December. I think some shipyard personnel will be joining the vessel on it way down to South America. Same happened with one of the ships for Celebrity/Silverseas built at De Hoop for Galapagos biz not too long ago.

I checked Equasis she is listed and
GTLK EUROPE DAC as ship manager - !!! This is a Russian leasing outfit!!!
that some shipyard personnel will be sailing down to SA is normal for a new vessel, to check on vessels performance under guarantee conditions. Maybe a touch up here and there on interior, but 0ber 90% of interior should be completed by now.

yes I agree with you that it is a bit strange that they don't have any interior pics at all yet

SH MINERVA is officially "In Service/Commission" in the register of IHS Maritime since 3 Dec 2021. She is Classed by Lloyds Register, so I think LR Ships in Class will update her in the course of the current week. She measures 10,617GT, flies the Malta flag and was spotted on her delivery voyage to Tenerife at Kiel on 5 Dec 2021: http://www.shipspotting.com/gallery/photo.php?lid=3369244#

As was the case with the ROALD AMUNDSEN of Hurtigruten. I got a cruise by her from Lisbon to Hamburg, supposed to depart at 17th May 2019, cancelled because of the interiors still being a mess.
