The 'Jireh' ex 'Strandebarn' experienced a complete loss of power while heaving anchor with three shackles in the water in position lat 50 36 52.0N, long 2 22 02.0W, at Portland Anchorage at 1621 UTC, today. The crew has requested tug assistance. The crew confirmed the vessel is not drifting and has ability to manoeuvre but has no electrical supply. Portland Harbour advised there is a work vessel on standby to assist the vessel with divers and engineers. The Weymouth RNLI Alb is on standby. The crew requested to contact owners to authorise tug support but was unable to make contact.
